On-request resource for current, objective information on prescription drugs, over-the-counter and herbal products available to all Saskatchewan healthcare providers. Information provided on indication, drug of choice, dosage, interaction, adverse effects, drug use in pregnancy and lactation, availability and more. Drug information consultants are licensed pharmacists. SDIS is a non-profit organization partially funded by grants from Saskatchewan Health and the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists. There is no charge for the service.

Consultants are available by telephone Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. After hours messages can be left on voicemail or submitted via the SDIS website and will be responded to on the next business day.
